Louisiana agricultural producers interested in USDA conservation assistance should apply by September 30, 2026 to be considered for FY2027 funding through ACEP, CSP and EQIP.

Programs included

  • ACEP — Agricultural Conservation Easement Program: agricultural land and wetland easements
  • CSP — Conservation Stewardship Program: support for maintaining and expanding conservation activity
  • EQIP — Environmental Quality Incentives Program: technical and financial assistance for soil, water, erosion, habitat and other resource needs

NRCS accepts applications year-round, but September 30 is the key FY2027 consideration date.
