AI Transparency

We use AI where it can help you learn, orient, and prepare — and we say so clearly when we do. We do not use AI to decide who you get to talk to, who serves you, or what your land is worth.

Section 01

Where AI is used

  • Ask ACRES — the educational assistant available across the platform.
  • Guidance framing inside Reading Rooms and Dashboard recommendations, where AI helps sequence what to read next.
  • Content operations behind the scenes — summaries, drafts, and internal review — always finished by a human before it reaches you.

Section 02

Where AI is not used

  • AI does not decide who gets introduced to whom — introductions require mutual human consent and ACRES KEPT review.
  • AI does not price land, appraise property, or value legacies.
  • AI does not underwrite subscriptions, memberships, or applications.
  • AI does not send messages between users, and it cannot read private messages.

Section 03

What AI sees

When Ask ACRES personalizes a response, it sees the profile, assessment, and progress data of your account only. It does not see identifying information about other families, stewards, or partners. Sensitive materials — uploaded documents, private notes, and payment information — are excluded from AI prompts.

Section 04

How the models work

Ask ACRES uses hosted large language models operated by trusted providers. Prompts and responses are transmitted over encrypted connections. We do not permit model providers to use your conversations to train their public models. We retain conversations only to serve you and to improve the guardrails and quality of Ask ACRES.

Section 05

Humans remain accountable

Every consequential recommendation you receive can be traced back to a human decision: which resources exist, who is admitted as a steward, which partners are on the network, and how introductions are approved. AI helps you move through the platform; it does not replace the people behind it.

Section 06

Opting out

You are not required to use Ask ACRES to be a member. If you prefer not to use it, you can rely on Reading Rooms, the Resource Library, and human conversations with the ACRES KEPT team.
