Our Stewardship Promise

ACRES KEPT exists to help families keep and steward the land they already have. We teach, we coordinate, and we host relationships. Everything we build serves those three purposes.

• An educational platform — Reading Rooms, the Resource Library, Field Notes, and Ask ACRES.
• A stewardship network — vetted stewards and Network Partners aligned to a family's disciplines and jurisdictions.
• A relationship-based coordination platform — introductions and roadmaps that only move forward with mutual consent.

We are careful about our boundaries because trust depends on it. ACRES KEPT is not, and does not hold itself out as:

• a real estate brokerage — we do not represent buyers or sellers in transactions
• a law firm — we do not provide legal advice
• a financial advisor — we do not provide investment or tax advice
• a title company — we do not clear title or issue insurance
• an engineering or surveying firm — we do not certify boundaries, structures, or systems

Where those services are needed, we introduce families to the right professional partners with their explicit permission.

• Families remain in control. Every step of every journey — the Family Readiness Assessment, the Property Profile, the Stewardship Roadmap, the Marketplace — is opt-in and reversible.
• Nothing is shared without your explicit permission. Identifying information about your family or your land is released only when you release it, and only to the specific steward or partner you approve.
• We never earn commissions on land sales. Our revenue comes from membership, education, and ecosystem services — never from a transaction that pressures a family into selling.
• Introductions require mutual consent. Both sides opt in, and ACRES KEPT reviews the match before contact information is exchanged.
• Ask ACRES is educational. It answers questions and points to resources. It does not give legal, financial, or professional advice.
• Privacy is central, not decorative. Our data practices are explained in the Privacy Policy and enforced in the platform itself.

We are paid by memberships (Families, Stewards, Partners), by educational products, and by ecosystem services such as the Legacy Accelerator. We are not paid by transactions. There is no listing fee, no closing fee, and no split of proceeds when land changes hands. This is a deliberate structural choice — a platform paid on transactions ends up serving transactions.
